Job summary

DEME is seeking an Intern Full Stack Developer (Estimation Website) to build a web application that allows teams to estimate integration requests based on complexity, dependencies, and effort. The tool should provide a clear workflow: create request → select parameters → automatic calculation → overview of all active requests.

It will also incorporate a feedback loop to check how accurate assessments are. You will design and develop a modern full-stack application, build REST APIs in .NET for

Qualifications

  • Full-stack interest and willingness to work across the stack on a complete application.
  • Basic C#/.NET skills or eagerness to learn to build REST APIs.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and basic data modeling.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React for UI development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a modern full-stack web application.
  • Build REST APIs in .NET for storing and retrieving estimations.
  • Implement the SQL database and data access layer.
  • Develop the UI in React with reusable components.
  • Deploy the solution to RedHat OpenShift.
  • Write unit and integration tests.
  • Document the solution and present it to stakeholders.

Your profile
  • Full-stack interest - You enjoy working across the stack and want to build a complete application end-to-end.
  • Basic .NET skills - You can work with C#/.NET or are eager to learn it to build REST APIs
  • SQL understanding - You know how to design simple data models and write queries
  • React fundamentals - You have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and want to build clean, reusable UI components
  • Structured problem-solving - You can translate complex input into a clear workflow and logic
  • Attention to quality - You care about writing reliable code and tests
  • Language skills - You communicate fluently in Dutch and English
