Fernbrook Family Center offers internships for Masters level students in Social Work, Psychology, and related fields. Interns work under the direct supervision of a qualified site supervisor, with ongoing review of all services including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
The role involves delivering mental health services to children, adults, and families via individual, family, and group modalities, using culturally responsive methods and adhering to established documentation
Fernbrook Family Center provides internships for Masters level students from the fields of Social Work, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, etc. Masters level student intern work is done under the direct supervision of a qualified site supervisor from Fernbrook. All services provided by the Intern will be reviewed by the supervisor including written work (i.e. assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes) and interactions with clients. The student intern will engage in a variety of clinical and non‑clinical activities related to their specific discipline and consistent with their individual learning requirements for their program.
Masters Level Interns are not responsible for the supervision of other employees. They are expected to coordinate services with other Fernbrook employees who share caseloads.
