Job summary

FedEx is offering an internship program designed to give students real-world experience in a professional environment related to their field of study. You will work on meaningful projects and gain hands-on exposure while operating in a hybrid FedEx office setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration, analytical thinking, and strong MS Office skills. The program runs for 10 weeks (June 7th–August 13th) with a 40-hour workweek, and relocation stipends may apply for distances over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student or recent graduate (within 6 months) with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or other quantitative discipline.
• No experience required.
• Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.

Essential Functions

• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
• Participates in various networking and/or community service events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Degree: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or other quantitative discipline.

Minimum Experience

No experience required.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently or as a part of a team.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.

Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management.

Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Preferred Skills

Organizational, time management, planning, process analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong Visio and Power Point skills is a plus.

Additional Details

This position will be hybrid in Pittsburg, PA and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.

Pay

Pay: Salary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduates. A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship or co-op experience.
