BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWXT) invites applicants for a Finance & Accounting Summer Internship in Charlotte, NC. You will rotate through Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Business Development, and Internal Controls to gain broad exposure.

This paid internship targets undergraduates in finance or related fields; strong Excel/Office skills and clear communication are essential. U.S. citizenship and DOE security clearance eligibility are required.

• Complete non-complex account reconciliations to be reviewed by Finance leadership.
• Work as a team member in meeting the needs of the office staff, leaders, and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service to help customers and staff reach their goals.
• Evaluate current systems and procedures and make process improvement suggestions, including the use of AI.

Position Overview:

This is a Finance & Accounting (F&A) summer internship opportunity that will provide exposure to various F&A functions. The intern will rotate through the F&A organization spending approximately two weeks in each department including Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Business Development, and Internal Controls.

The starting hourly rate for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
