Nelnet is seeking a Finance/Accounting intern to handle a wide range of financial, accounting, and system related tasks. • Relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis assistance, including month end close and ad hoc requests.
• Assist with clerical accounting duties, including lockbox, cash deposits or reviewing credit card chargebacks.
• Assist with implementing a new company wide financial tool.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management.
• Provide backup as directed by supervisor and other duties as may be assigned.

EDUCATION:

Working towards a degree in Accounting or Finance

EXPERIENCE:

Relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting departments
