In this role, you'll work with experienced Engineers and hone your knowledge by supporting a variety of projects.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilitiesCreating conceptual, preliminary and detailed engineering drawings including Plan and Profiles through AutoCAD Civil3D, engineering reports, calculations, specifications and cost estimates for water and wastewater projectsPerforming calculations and analysis using engineering formulas for design of sanitary and storm sewers, and watermainsAssisting the project team in delivering projects, and with the preparation of feasibility studies and functional plansAssisting in applying for and obtaining the necessary permits and approvals to proceed with constructionCoordination with Suppliers and contractors for industry standards and shop drawingsWorking on multiple projects simultaneously through different phasesAssisting with contract administration and construction inspection duties on project sites as requiredAssisting with business development efforts including proposals and time task matricesQualificationsWorking towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related disciplineExperience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation is an assetStrong attention to detail and ability to produce quality results.Willingness to learn new software and ability to apply itCapable of working both independently and in a team environmentAbility to learn the approval process, including design guidelines and standardsAbility to learn the planning process and EA processHigh levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable wayDemonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellenceAbility to time manage and prioritize workload to meet tight deadlinesExperience with ArcGIS and Environmental Assessment is an assetAdditional Information#LI-DNPTYLin offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
