Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Baltimore, MD invites you to apply for the Summer 2027 Intern Engineer program across Water Resources, Roadway, Structures, Transportation Planning, ITS, Tolling, and Construction Management. This internship develops practical engineering skills through hands-on tasks under experienced engineers.

You’ll assist teams with research, drawings, and calculations, while learning shop drawing procedures and project documentation in a collaborative, real-world infrastructure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometry and algebra.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with shop drawing and submittal procedures.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
