Job summary

The Hanover Internship Program in Worcester, MA offers a 10-week summer experience for college students to tackle critical business assignments and apply classroom knowledge.

In this role, you will design, implement, and evaluate statistical models, build models for projections and classification, explore end-user behavior, and prepare stakeholder reports. Qualifications

  • Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week internship.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and tools for application in business issues
  • Build statistical models for various problems inclusive of projections, classification, clustering, pattern analysis, sampling, simulations, etc.
  • Research new ways for predicting and modeling end-user behavior
  • Investigate data summarization and visualization techniques for conveying key applied analytics findings
  • Perform ad-hoc data mining and exploratory statistics tasks on very large data sets related to the business’s strategies
  • Prepare reports and presentations for relevant stakeholders

SUMMER INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:

The Hanover’s Internship Program provides college students with the opportunity to work on a variety of critical business assignments, test your skills, use your academic knowledge, and match your interests to a real job.
Through the 10-week summer program (June – mid August), You will:

  • Take on meaningful projects and work alongside some of the very best talent in the industry
  • Be supported and mentored by a community of exceptional talent (leaders, managers, subject matter experts and recent graduates)
  • Participate in a cross-functional team building project focused on corporate philanthropy
  • Attend weekly development workshops with your intern peers
  • Join in engagement and social activities with other interns

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree or advanced degree program

The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience.
