A successful candidate will work independently while taking direction from the Gresham Equipment Engineering Software Engineer. This role is 100% onsite.**Essential Competencies:*** Must be able to maintain a \"Big Picture\" perspective* Must be able to understand user requirements and complex manufacturing topics* Provide project updates and write functional and technical documents* Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Have strong verbal and written communication skills* Must be able to work independently and in a team to develop innovative solutions* Must be able to work with both a technical and non-technical user community* Use the Microchip tracking systems to log requests, issues, and projects* Follow the Microchip Information Systems policies and procedures on development, project management, and change control**Requirements/Qualifications:**Candidate must be enrolled in a Associate's degree plan for Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field and actively attending college courses relating to their degree plan. Be willing to work at least 20 hours per week but will be permitted to work up to 40 hours while maintaining degree program requirements.
