Microchip Technology Inc is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern to support the Data Center Solutions Business Unit. You will assist in developing tools, demos, and lab bring-up, while debugging customer boards and preparing collaterals.

You’ll gain exposure to embedded firmware, lab analysis, and customer support responsibilities. You will work with OS installations, drivers, and hardware debugging, and contribute to training materials and product demonstrations for events and new

Responsibilities

• Setting up lab equipment including installation of OS, Drivers, tools, debuggers, analyzers etc.
• Bring-up and debug customer evaluation boards
• Develop and maintain customer collaterals, custom firmware and diagnostic tools
• Recreate, collect, analyze, debug and root cause customer reported problems in a lab environment
• Develop and provide product training to customers and internal teams
• Demonstrate new product features, capabilities in industry events and trade shows
