Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Traffic Engineering (Summer 2027) to join our collaborative team in Chicago, IL, Pittsburgh, PA, or Cleveland, OH. You will assist with traffic/transportation project work, exposure to impact studies, parking studies, and traffic signal design, with opportunities for fieldwork, reports, and data collection.
Responsibilities include traffic observation, preparing reports and plans, and supporting the Site/Civil group.

Langan is seeking a Intern/Co-op – Traffic Engineering (Summer 2027) to join its collaborative team inChicago, IL, Pittsburgh, PA, or Cleveland, OH. This individual will serve a key function in providing assistance with Traffic/Transportation project work.In this role, you will have the opportunity to get exposure to transportation impact studies, parking studies, traffic event management for large stadiums, transportation master planning, traffic signal design, and Highway Occupancy Permit (HOP) plans & designs. Assignments may involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, preparation of figures & other graphics, data collection, and assistance to the Site/Civil group as needed.

Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm’s annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year.
