Baker Hughes Company invites university students to join its 24‑week Project Management Internship starting April 2027. This program offers hands‑on experience in a global energy company, with mentors, buddy support, and exposure to HS&E culture and advanced technology.

Interns will help develop project plans, maintain documentation, monitor risks, and prepare status reports, while receiving coaching and opportunities to present results.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, STEM-related or business-related program.
• Maintain GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
• Fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
• Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship (locations vary).
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones with project managers and teams.
• Maintain project documentation, including charters, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Identify potential project risks and help develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular project status reports for managers and stakeholders, highlighting progress and milestones.
• Apply HS&E standards to ensure compliance.

The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree to gain hands‑on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives.

Our internships will give you first‑hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading‑edge technology.

Partner with the best You’ll participate in focused training, and team meetings, work on projects, and present your results.

During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience.

You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.

You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) and culture of Baker Hughes. as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

As an Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with project managers and teams.
• Maintaining project documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Identifying potential project risks and assisting in developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Preparing regular project status reports for project managers and stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and upcoming milestones.
• Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Engineering, Technology, other STEM‑related or business related program.
• Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
• Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills
• Be able to relocate for the duration of your internship (locations vary)
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must maintain work authorization throughout your employment without requiring sponsorship by Baker Hughes, now or in the future.

The hourly rate range for this position is $22-$44
