As part of MPLX, a midstream company majority owned by MPC, Logistics & Storage Engineering (L&SE) is an engineering service and project management organization comprised of engineering and other resources that primarily manage project work associated with Marathon Pipe Line (MPL), Terminals, and Marine organizations within MPLX. L&SE Project Controls interns/co‑ops partner with L&SE project engineers to support projects through all five phases of the Marathon Project Management Process (MPMP): conceptual, feasibility, definition, implementation, and close‑out/start‑up. Participants will gain hands‑on experience with Project Controls standards, practices, and procedures.
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Accounting, or Finance. Other Business majors may be considered. Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program for the duration of the experience. Strong academic performance. Available to work on site 40 hours per week. Valid driver's license for work‑related travel. Must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from place of work. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States with the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
MIN - $21.63 per hour / MAX - $37.00 per hour
