The Opportunity

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Phoenix / Scottsdale team for Summer 2026 (full-time, mid-May through mid-August). This internship provides hands‑on experience in civil engineering design, project documentation, and site development while offering exposure to the professional path toward licensure.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and consultants on active projects.
• Apply classroom learning to real‑world design and documentation.
• Gain exposure to land development, site planning, and infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do

• Use CAD software to prepare design documents from sketches, notes, and instructions.
• Draft detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
• Translate markups into revised drawings and review for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze maps, surveys, soil and hydrology reports, and other data to support design decisions.
• Assist with calculations and technical documentation under the supervision of licensed engineers.

• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering program; entering final year preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred).
