Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a part-time Business Management intern in Melbourne, FL, to support finance, purchasing, or a project/business/technical unit. The role offers exposure to a summer internship program and related development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
• Be majoring in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree.
• Be available to work part-time (at least 20+ hours per week) for at least 10 weeks onsite.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Northrop Grumman is seeking a part-time Business Management intern to join the Aeronautics Sector Intern Program. This position will be in Melbourne, FL.

The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or for a specific project/business/technical unit.

As An Intern, You’ll Participate In a Summer Internship Program To Develop Competencies In a Variety Of Specializations That May Include

• Gather, collect, record, track and be able to verify data and information from multiple sources.
• Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data.
• Able to use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations. May design processes to enhance workflow.
• Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
• Be majoring in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree.
• Be available to work part-time (at least 20+ hours per week) for at least 10 weeks onsite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
• Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Intern Pay Range

• Undergraduate Degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $16.50 to $30.00 per hour
• Master’s: $23.75 to $37.25 per hour

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
