Clearway Energy Group is seeking an Asset Management Intern to join the Asset Management Team overseeing a 10 GW portfolio of wind and solar projects across the United States. This 10-week summer internship begins June 1, 2026, with opportunities for undergraduates or graduate students in related fields.
You will assist in evaluations, P&L analysis, and due diligence, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize asset performance and value.
The Asset Management Intern will be part of the Clearway Asset Management Team responsible for the commercial management of 10 GW of utility‑scale wind and solar power projects located across the United States. The Asset Management Team serves as the owner’s representative ensuring that budget control, value optimization, and risk mitigation are performed during the entire operational lifecycle of a project.
This position is part of the 10‑week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning on June 1, 2026. We are open to hiring undergraduates (seniors or recent graduates) and graduate students (first‑ or second‑year) in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
The Asset Management Intern will be assigned to an individual project and will present results to the team and leadership at the end of the internship on August 4.
Hybrid role based in the San Diego office; employees are in‑office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Internship dates: June 1 – August 7 2026.
Salary range: $23 – $32 USD per hour. The role is not eligible for an annual cash bonus.
