Jackson Liles Architecture is looking for a talented Designer with 1 to 3 years of professional experience to join our team. This in-person position provides an exciting opportunity to engage in all facets of design while working in a collaborative, supportive, and vibrant environment.

At JacksonLiles Architecture (JLA), we aim to enhance how the built environment supports daily life—whether at work, within the community, or at home —through creative and beautiful solutions to complex challenges. Our projects encompass a wide range of types and scales, including commercial ground-up construction, renovations, industrial and logistics facilities, preschools, recreational facilities, and residential renovations. Currently, our studio is engaged in a diverse mix of exciting projects, such as the design of commercial urban infill developments, industrial and logistics facilities, food banks, a new recreation center at a local city park, non-profit facilities, and residential renovations.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 1–3 years of prior experience in an architecture or interior design firm
  • Strong design sensibility and enthusiasm for collaboration
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, curious, and a great sense of humor
  • Currently located in the SF Bay Area
  • Current legal authorization to work in the United States
