Job summary

IBM offers an internship where you’ll learn from experienced technologists, work on modern software development and consulting practices, and contribute to real client projects across industries.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, AI, DevOps, and Agile methodologies, while collaborating with engineers, architects, and product teams. High-performing interns may advance to full-time Associate roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Interest in software development, application engineering, cloud technologies, AI, automation, or digital transformation.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts with exposure to at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, or similar technologies through coursework, projects, internships, or personal learning.
• Basic understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, databases, APIs, and problem-solving concepts.
• Exposure to software development, cloud technologies, databases, or technical problem-solving through coursework, academic projects, hackathons, student organizations, research, open-source contributions, personal learning, or IBM SkillsBuild, certifications, or other opportunities.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, including AI, cloud computing, automation, cybersecurity, and modern software engineering practices.
