Job summary

JEA is now accepting applications for our paid 2027 Internship Program. The Accounting Internship provides hands-on exposure to account reconciliations, financial statement review, and monthly reporting accuracy in a real-world setting.

Selected interns will be rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors pursuing an Accounting degree with a 3.0 GPA, must submit transcripts, and commit to 13 weeks at 32 hours per week in Jacksonville, FL.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Transcript must be submitted with your application

Accounting Internship

As an Accounting Intern at JEA, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of how these functions support and drive business operations. Interns will engage in meaningful projects exposing them to account reconciliations, reviewing financial statements, and learning what is required to ensure accuracy of monthly reporting. This hands-on experience will help bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application in a dynamic, real-world environment.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the internship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior enrolled in an Accounting bachelor’s degree program
• A minimum GPA of 3.0
• A copy of your most recent transcript must be submitted with your application.
• Be available to work 13 weeks 32 hours per week during the internship period. (Jacksonville, FL)
