Job summary

C&S Companies is seeking an Construction Management internship candidate in the United States (Washington state). You will join the construction management team, meet with leadership, and work with mentors on professional and technical development.

The program emphasizes company culture, teamwork, and a ONE C&S mentality. Responsibilities include assisting in project coordination from feasibility to final plan, data collection, and using engineering software under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or another related field. Completion of sophomore year preferred.
• Flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other 3D modeling systems.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous internship experience or involvement in a related student association a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine aspects of Construction Management under close supervision.
• May use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform tasks.
• Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
• Assist in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through final plan preparations.
• Provide support to staff members as needed.
• Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.
• Communicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or Health and Safety Department.

Position Overview

As an intern on our Construction Management team, you will be an integral part of projects and support key members of our team. Our internship program provides all interns an opportunity to meet with leadership and work with mentors on both professional and technical development. Estimated Compensation Range: $17.00-$23.00/hour*
