Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring for a Hostler Driver/Terminal Operator in Texas to safely unload, load, and reposition intermodal containers. You will use a top-lift or side loader to optimize yard flow and support gate operations and repair teams.

The role requires operating heavy equipment, strict safety discipline, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating top-lift, side loader, or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong safety focus and situational awareness.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Must follow safety requirements and practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment background, including criminal, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate top-lift and/or side loader to move containers within the yard.
• Load and unload intermodal containers from/on to chassis.
• Stack and unstack containers and chassis per yard plan.
• Coordinate with gate personnel to assist drivers dropping off or picking up equipment.
• Support maintenance by moving equipment for repairs or inspections.
• Perform routine safety checks and report issues or hazards.
• Follow site safety protocols and keep the yard clean and organized.
