You will plan dispatch boards, maximize driver hours, track loads, ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance, reduce costs, and support driver retention. Salary $80,000-$100,000+ DOE with monthly bonus opportunities; on-site, full-time, typical hours Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of intermodal/container freight dispatching and operations experience.
• 3+ years in an owner-operator environment.
• Understanding of market rates and freight pricing concepts.
• TMS software experience required.
• After-hours availability by phone for driver issues.

Responsibilities

• Run daily terminal operations for a regional intermodal location.
• Plan dispatch boards to maximize driver hours and equipment use.
• Track loads, update TMS, and communicate changes promptly.
• Reduce storage and avoidable costs at the terminal.
• Support driver retention through clear dispatch and problem solving.
• Vet owner-operators and assist onboarding.
• Spot freight opportunities and share leads with sales.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety standards.
