Job summary

U.S. Multimodal Group is seeking a CCT M&R Tech to maintain and repair intermodal equipment (CCTs, chassis, trailers) at the West Memphis, TN yard.

The role requires daily on-site presence and a focus on safety and reliability to meet customer demands and company performance goals. Responsibilities include inspecting and planning repairs, performing electrical and mechanical work, welding, inventory management, and collaborating with auditors to ensure quality and compliance while supporting

Qualifications

• Ability to lift over 50lbs.
• Owns complete set of tools.
• Ability and Knowledge to use power or pneumatic tools.
• Work in adverse weather conditions.
• Performs work independently.
• Problems solving and diagnostics skills.
• Ability and agility to work in all areas of shop/ yard.

Responsibilities

• Perform FHWA-listed repairs and maintenance on intermodal equipment.
• Inspect equipment to determine best work plan and procedure.
• Remove, replace or rebuild damaged parts and components.
• Repair electrical, air, brakes, tires and related systems.
• Perform welding and riveting as required.
• Unloading and organizing tires and parts; maintain inventory.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment per guidelines.
• Ensure repairs meet customer criteria and safety standards.
• Collaborate with auditors to determine repair scope and quantity.
