Job summary

Schneider National is seeking experienced Intermodal Truck Drivers to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis across a safe, driver-friendly network. Most freight is no-touch with 80% drop-and-hook, and routes run in DE, MD, PA, VA and WV.

Pay includes mileage and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months for experienced drivers and paid orientation. Paid time off after 6 months plus holiday pay; annual bonus up to 3% of gross pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 75 miles of Baltimore, MD.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate primarily no-touch freight with 80% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards across DE, MD, PA, VA and WV.
