Job summary

Canadian Pacific Kansas City is seeking a Supervisor, Intermodal & Automotive Operations to oversee yard activities, coordinate terminal operations, and ensure safe, on-time performance. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with Mechanical, Train & Engine, Engineering, and the Operations Center to execute plans.

You will lead safety initiatives, manage inventory, and ensure documentation across shifts, while complying with policies and collective agreements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of railroad or terminal operations experience.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn and use OASIS, TMS, RPM, and TYES.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage yard operations to meet schedules.
• Lead terminal staff and ensure safe yard processes.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Train & Engine, Engineering, Ops Center.
• Provide clear instructions for train movements.
• Maintain terminal inventory and data in systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Oversee perishables operations and service delivery.
