Models play an important role in helping students develop their understanding of human anatomy, proportion, gesture, and the expressive possibilities of the human form.Position DetailsPossibility of 18 + class sessionsApproximately 3 hours per sessionClasses typically meet Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 AM–12:30 AM, + 1:00 PM–3:55 PMBreaks provided at least every 40 minutesSpecific session dates will be confirmed by the Department CoordinatorModels will be briefed on the planned poses before each class and asked to confirm their comfort with themPay is $24/hour, with paid parkingApplicants shouldBe reliable and able to hold a variety of poses for requested periods of time, from short gesture poses to longer poses for detailed studiesConduct themselves professionally and maintain discretionBe comfortable modeling the nude human figureHave an interest or background in the arts, although prior artistic experience is not requiredOur department is committed to creating a professional and respectful experience for every model.Faculty and students do not touch models.
