Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicants pending completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Use glucose monitoring and basic nursing skills to support veterans under RN supervision.
• Observe patient condition and report changes to the treatment team.
• Document care provided and care plan progress in the medical record.
• Assist with daily living activities and support independence where appropriate.
• Follow safety, infection control and equipment handling procedures.
