About the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites:
The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites (ISMHS) is a statewide museum system with 12 locations, including a central museum based in Indianapolis. Role Overview:
Position with primary duties as a tour guide, leading visitors through historic home. Providing assistance with programming and gift shop operations is also required. Weekends and holidays are required. Weekly hours will be required based on expected tour groups and programming needs.
Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $16.24 per hour but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana:
This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
