Job summary

Erickson Senior Living invites applications for a role at Maris Grove in Glen Mills. The position supports social activity programming for Intermission participants, focusing on a person-centered approach to meet each resident's needs.

You will design and implement creative programs and assist in operations, including transporting residents to activities and helping with mealtime preparations. We value patience, flexibility and a sincere interest in working with residents affected by dementia.

Qualifications

• Patience and genuine interest in working with residents affected by dementia.
• Programming/activity experience is preferred.
• Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants
• Adopt a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident
• Design and implement creative programming
• Assist in program operation by leading activities and transport residents to and from programs
• Engage in mealtime preparations
• Complete daily attendance records
• Attend in-services and other training to increase job knowledge and skills in working with participants

Location: Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living

Compensation: Starts at $17 an hour, commensurate with experience.
