Job summary

Forest Lawn is seeking a dedicated Interments specialist to perform interments, entombments and niche placements, and to install memorial tablets, vases, and markers. You may work alone or with a team, under supervision, contributing to high-quality service and customer care.

The role involves grounds maintenance support, ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks, and collaboration with families as needed. Physical lifting up to 100 pounds is required, with prior cemetery operations experience

Qualifications

• Experience in cemetery operations or interment services is preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform interment preparation and space setup using maps and dimensions.
• Prepare locations for committal services and operate lowering equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of locations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
