Job summary

SCI is seeking a Cemetery Maintenance Associate to perform openings and closings for burials, entombments, and inurnments in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. The role includes setting memorials and markers, operating heavy equipment, and completing client family work orders with care and precision.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of equipment operation experience, plus a valid driving record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience operating standard equipment.
• Must have acceptable driving record and applicable license(s) to operate equipment/vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Openings & closings for burials, entombments and inurnments.
• Set up foundations, memorials, and markers; install outer burial containers.
• Handle and complete work orders from client families for grave/marker maintenance.
• Respond to service/work order requests and ensure timely completion.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
