Job summary

Service Corporation International’s Canóvanas location is seeking a Cemetery Maintenance Associate to perform openings and closings for interments, entombments and inurnments, and to assist with memorials and markers. You will also handle grounds maintenance, safety procedures, and equipment operation in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications include a High School degree or equivalent and at least six months of equipment operation experience.

• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs openings & closings for burials, entombments and inurnments, as applicable to grounds care duties.
• Sets, installs, and assembles foundations, memorials, and markers as required.
• Installs outer burial containers and handles related maintenance tasks.
