Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled radiologic professional to perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures and assist physicians during examinations.

This role requires ARDMS certification and ARRT/vascular tech licensure, with a focus on accurate, compassionate patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, maintain cost-conscious workflows, and participate in required in-services and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certifications and licensure to perform diagnostic ultrasound.
• Strong patient communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality/cost effective diagnostic procedures
• Assists Physicians and medical staff during procedures as requested/required
• Provides excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, Physicians, medical staff, and NMHC staff members
• Attends required in-services, annual review and educational programs
• Knowledgeable of procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in Radiological examinations
• Stay abreast of changes in Radiology
• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
• Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
• Organize work flow to prevent delays and control cost through appropriate use of supplies.
• All other duties as assigned.
