Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Radiology technician who performs high quality, cost-effective diagnostic procedures and assists physicians during procedures. You will communicate with patients and staff to ensure accurate results and a smooth workflow.

The role requires staying current with radiology changes, adhering to policies and guidelines, and participating in in-services and education programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality/cost effective diagnostic procedures
• Assists Physicians and medical staff during procedures as requested/required
• Provides excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, Physicians, medical staff, and NMMC staff members
• Attends required in-services, annual review and educational programs
• Knowledgeable of procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in Radiological examinations
• Stay abreast of changes in Radiology
• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
• Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guidelines/regulations/laws/statues
• Organize work flow to prevent delays and control cost through appropriate use of supplies
• All other duties as assigned.
