Summary of Job Duties:

The Intermediate Technical Project Manager supports all divisions of UAMS in managing medium-scale projects from concept to implementation, working with guidance and embodying best practices. They serve as a point of contact, communicate effectively, and may contribute to business or systems analysis tasks. The role requires collaboration, ownership, and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree with 1 year of Project Management or IT experience in healthcare, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience
• Associate's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or GED with 7 years of relevant experience
• At least five years of experience leading teams/projects, proficiency in MS Windows, knowledge of information system standards, and ability to manage projects over networks
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Collaborative, organized, thorough, and attentive to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Three years' experience in project management, healthcare, systems analysis, or IT
• PMP, CAPM, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
