Job summary

Vincere in San Francisco is seeking an Intermediate Technical Designer to turn creative design concepts into coordinated, code‑compliant and buildable interior solutions for commercial spaces. The role requires 4–8 years of interior design or architectural experience, strong Revit capability and fluency with Construction Documents, detailing, and coordination with consultants and contractors.

You will develop construction documents across plans, elevations, lighting and details, support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• 4–8 years of professional interior/architectural project experience.
• Experience developing Construction Documents for commercial interiors.
• Strong Revit and Enscape skills.
• Familiarity with building codes and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate Construction Documents across plans and details.
• Translate design intent into buildable, coordinated solutions.
• Research and specify interior materials, finishes, fixtures.
• Coordinate systems including A/V, lighting, data, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and acoustics.

An Intermediate Technical Designer is required for a San Francisco-based architecture and interior design role focused on turning creative design concepts into coordinated, code-compliant and buildable interior solutions.

This is a strong opportunity for a technical design professional with commercial interiors or workplace project experience, strong Revit capability and a proven understanding of Construction Documents, detailing, consultant coordination, permitting and construction administration.

The Intermediate Technical Designer / Technical Designer / Interior Designer Role:

• Develop and coordinate Construction Documents across plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, power and signal plans and technical details
• Work with Project Designers to translate design intent into coordinated, buildable solutions
• Research and recommend materials, finishes, fixtures, equipment, hardware and other interior components
• Coordinate technical systems including A/V, lighting, power, data, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and acoustics
• Participate in QA/QC reviews to support drawing quality, Revit standards and cross-discipline coordination
• Carry out field surveys, review existing conditions and support code-compliance checks
• Coordinate with internal teams, product representatives, fabricators, consultants and general contractors
• Support agency approvals, permitting and construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site visits and field observation reports

Intermediate Technical Designer / Technical Designer / Interior Designer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline
• 4-8 years of professional experience across interior design and/or architectural projects
• Experience developing coordinated Construction Documents for commercial interior environments
• Strong Autodesk Revit and Enscape skills
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Working knowledge of building systems, materials, detailing, specifications and constructability
• Knowledge of state and local building and fire codes related to interior environments, including accessibility
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this role

Desirable Experience:

• Workplace or commercial interiors project experience
• Experience working in a Citrix environment
• Experience using Mural or similar collaboration platforms
• Office 365, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Hand sketching or conceptual drawing ability
• Hands-on LEED, WELL or wider sustainable design project experience
• Working toward professional licensure or accreditation
