Job Summary: The 4th-5th Grade Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging and effective instruction for intermediate students. This position requires a strong understanding of curriculum development, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and assessment strategies, as well as a commitment to Catholic education.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and Diocesan standards.
2. Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth.
3. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
4. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students in learning.
5. Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to students and parents.
6. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
7. Manage student behavior effectively and consistently, in accordance with school policies.
8. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to improve instructional practices and school programs.
9. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education.
10. Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to student confidentiality and safety.
11. Support the Catholic mission and values of All Saints School.
12. Supervise students in various settings, including the classroom, playground, and cafeteria.
13. Participate in school events and activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education.
• Valid teaching license/certification in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience teaching elementary school students.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Experience in a Catholic school setting is preferred, but not required.
