Job summary

Seneca Holdings’ Western Door Federalis unit seeks an Intermediate Software Developer at the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. You will design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications supporting Army missions using C#, .NET, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities include modernizing apps, implementing secure SDLC practices, and collaborating with government and contractor teams. A Secret clearance (interim ok) and DoD 8570.01-M certs required within 6 months; onsite with occasional

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional experience developing full-stack web applications.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core and SQL development.
• Experience building modern web apps with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and related frameworks.
• Active Secret Security Clearance (interim acceptable to start).
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level One (Security+) certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications supporting Army mission requirements.
• Develop backend services, APIs, business logic, and database solutions using .NET and SQL Server.
• Create and modernize web applications using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Maintain and refactor existing applications and migrate to modern frameworks.
• Apply secure software development practices throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop database schemas, stored procedures, functions, indexes, and scripts.
• Collaborate with government and contractor teams on enhancements and capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Produce documentation and system diagrams.
• Be onsite full-time with flexibility to work from home when needed.
• Keep trainings and certifications up to date.
