The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, located in Kansas City, MO, is hiring a Registered Nurse for their Medical Intermediate Unit. This Magnet designated facility is a leader among Academic Medical Centers. The unit provides care to high-acuity, short-stay medical patients in a fast-paced environment. As a nurse on this team, you will care for a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, renal issues, confusion, non-surgical cases, heart failure, observation, and more.

Shift Details: 6:45 am to 7:15 pm - weekend work program

The Work:

• Utilize the nursing process effectively.
• Perform patient care, delegate tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate care plans for assigned patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures, demonstrating proficiency in clinical practice.

Job Requirements:

Experience and certifications include:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Specialty certifications as required
• Registered Nurse licensure
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
