Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development (Commercial) - Houston, TX

Join us at Arcadis as an Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development (Commercial) projects in Houston, TX.

Position Overview

Arcadis is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a PE license to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. This role focuses on expanding our civil land development projects across Texas, including large-scale projects such as hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational campuses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and execution of civil infrastructure and site development projects for both public and private sectors.
• Collaborate with project managers to prepare construction documents.
• Design civil engineering components including site layout, roadway design, grading, drainage, utility layout, and stormwater management.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective project communication and issue resolution.
• Work with municipalities to obtain permits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in civil development projects for private and/or public sectors.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• BSc in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.

Additional Information
