Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) seeks an Intermediate Network Engineer to support installation, operations, maintenance, and improvement of routed and switched networks in secure enterprise environments. The role ensures high availability, supports troubleshooting, and maintains network docs in coordination with internal teams and mission partners.

Qualified candidates have 3–5+ years of network engineering/ops, a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and an active TS clearance with SCI access.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years network engineering/operations.
• Active Top Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS with SCI access.
• CCNA or Network+ at minimum; CCNP preferred.
• Hands-on Cisco enterprise networking experience; familiarity with change/configuration control.

Responsibilities

• Configures and maintains routers, switches, firewalls and essential network services.
• Monitors network performance and troubleshoots outages to minimize downtime.
• Implements VLANs and routing changes through change management processes.
• Maintains up-to-date network diagrams and configuration documentation.
• Coordinates with mission partners to resolve connectivity issues across networks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Intermediate Network Engineer

We are seeking an Intermediate Network Engineer to support installation, operations, maintenance, and improvement of routed and switched networks in secure enterprise environments. This role sustains high availability, supports troubleshooting and fault isolation, implements approved changes, and maintains accurate network documentation in coordination with internal teams and external mission partners.

Responsibilities

• Configures and maintains network infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls) and essential network services to ensure stable, secure connectivity.
• Continuously monitors network performance and promptly troubleshoots any outages or degradations to minimize downtime and maintain service quality.
• Implements VLAN, routing, and other connectivity changes through approved change management processes, ensuring reliable and controlled network modifications.
• Maintains current network diagrams and configuration documentation, providing accurate records of network setups for effective planning, support, and audits.
• Coordinates with mission partners to identify and resolve boundary or connectivity issues, facilitating seamless integration and communication across networks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: 3–5+ years network engineering/operations.
• Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (preferred); equivalent experience considered.
• Clearance Requirements: Must have active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain TS with SCI access.
• Certification Requirements: CCNA or Network+ (minimum); CCNP preferred.
• Travel may be required for role.
• Hands‑on Cisco enterprise networking experience; familiarity with structured change/configuration control and secure network operations.
