Associated Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer (Intermediate) to work on municipal infrastructure projects in Edmonton. You will contribute to design, coordination, and delivery from concept through construction, while collaborating with clients and team members.

The role emphasizes hands-on project work, proposal development, and growth opportunities in a well-established, employee-owned Canadian firm with a focus on sustainable communities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Registered, or eligible, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
• 6 years of municipal engineering experience.
• Experience with design, specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction and commissioning of roads, drainage, water mains, sewers and pump stations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Committed team player able to work independently.
• Consulting experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Work on municipal infrastructure projects including water mains, sewers, drainage and roads.
• Provide technical expertise and project coordination.
• Prepare proposals and advance projects through concept, design and construction phases.
• Manage and develop new clients.
