American Medical Response in Herndon, VA is seeking a Mechanic to service and repair EMS fleet vehicles. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, respond to field breakdowns, and ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards.
This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and ASE certifications within the first year. Prior experience as a mechanic is valued; MACS AC or equivalent is preferred.
$30.00 per hour annualized starting compensation range.
Total annualized compensation depends on qualifications, and experience.
Position Summary: The Mechanic role is responsible for retrieving vehicles due for service or repair, with the goal of reducing down time and increasing the quality and delivery of our services to the crews and our patients. The delivered product is a clean, mechanically sound vehicle inside and out. It is important that the product produced is maintained to the highest standard.
