Job summary

DCCA is seeking an Intermediate Information Assurance (IA) Analyst in Maryland. The role requires an active Secret clearance and 5+ years of information security experience. You will support RMF workflows, monitor security controls, and assist in secure software integration.

Candidates should have DoD 8140/8500 knowledge, be proficient with PKI, VPNs, firewalls, and incident detection systems. DCCA offers growth, benefits, and a competitive compensation package.

Intermediate Information Assurance (IA) Analyst

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

Demonstrated experience in Information System Security Management, performing monitoring, auditing and analyzing information. Ensuring information systems reliability and accessibility. Prevention and defense against unauthorized access to systems, networks and data. Knowledge, understanding and compliance using.the Risk Management Framework process for certification of DoD systems. Provides technical support for secure software development and integration tasks, including reviewing work products for correctness and adhering to the design concept and to user standards. Performs risk analyses, which includes assessment using tools such as STIGs, ACAS and Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS). Knowledge of Security/IA products such as PKI, VPN, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.. Knowledge, understanding and compliance with DoD 8140, 8500 (Cybersecurity), 8510 (RMF), 8551 (PPSM), CJCSI 6510.01f (IA & CND), etc.

Qualification

Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II in accordance with DoD 8140

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering with at least 5 years of experience.

Salary

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 63,619 to 90,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
