Job summary

American Medical Response is seeking an Intermediate Mechanic to oversee maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations, including Riverside, CA. This role ensures timely, high-quality transport services and patient care support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years verifiable line mechanic or mechanic helper/associate experience.
• Current valid driver’s license is required.
• Two ASE certifications (Truck or Automotive) preferred: Brake and Steering/Suspension.
• MACS AC certification or equivalent ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Use parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
• Document completed tasks/jobs in the maintenance database.
