Job description

Join to apply for the Intermediate FF&E Interior Designer role at EIGELBERGER | Architecture and Design

We are looking for a driven, self-sufficient Intermediate FF&E Interior Designer with a strong background in high-end residential and hospitality interiors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, design-focused environment and is confident in taking initiative, managing workflow, and delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions with minimal oversight. With 7+ years of experience, you bring a refined design eye and the ability to take ownership of FF&E packages—from concept through to installation. You’re proactive, organized, resourceful, and passionate about curating beautiful, timeless environments that elevate the everyday.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead FF&E design development for specific project areas with confidence and independence while aligning with the broader project vision.
  2. Source and specify furnishings, finishes, lighting, textiles, accessories, and artwork with precision and creativity.
  3. Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specification documents, mood boards, and presentation packages.
  4. Liaise directly with suppliers and fabricators, managing sample procurement and tracking.
  5. Collaborate with the broader team to ensure seamless integration of FF&E with architectural elements and interiors.
  6. Assist in managing procurement processes and maintaining project timelines and budgets.
  7. Attend client meetings, showroom visits, and site installations, representing the design intent with clarity and professionalism.
  8. Stay ahead of design trends and product developments, continuously expanding your knowledge and resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
  1. Degree-qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 7 years’ experience working on luxury residential and hospitality interiors.
  3. Proven ability to work independently and drive FF&E design from start to finish.
  4. Strong creative and technical knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and custom design.
  5. Excellent time management and organizational skills — juggling multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  6. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Excel; knowledge of procurement tracking tools is a plus.
  7. Confident communicator, both internally and in client/vendor interactions.
  8. Strong sense of accountability, initiative, and pride in delivering polished, well-resolved work.
Why Join Us?

Be part of a studio that values autonomy, creativity, and design excellence. Work on award-winning, design-led projects with a global reach. Enjoy a collaborative, respectful environment that encourages professional growth and initiative. Benefit from competitive compensation and benefits tailored to your experience.
