Kolar, located in downtown Cincinnati, seeks an Intermediate Environmental Graphic Designer to lead graphics and wayfinding initiatives across sectors. The role blends creative design with practical project delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to meet client goals.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency in design software and Sign Agent Pro, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, environmental design, architecture or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience managing graphics and wayfinding projects.
• Proficiency in design software and ability to work across teams.
• Strong understanding of ADA and zoning codes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design Development: cultivate relationships with internal/external design partners; ensure accessibility and code compliance; explore materials and fabrication trends; lead small projects end-to-end.
• Implementation: manage 10+ projects in Graphics and Wayfinding; coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams; supervise fabrication and installation; perform quality checks.
• Client Services: build long-term client relationships; communicate clearly with teams and partners; incorporate client feedback to improve outcomes.
