Job Description

Johnson Fain is seeking a self-motivated, highly-skilled Intermediate Designer to work collaboratively with our design and technical team on various project types. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player with a background in Architecture, possessing a strong work ethic, client interface, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

1. Perform design and documentation assignments including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
2. Produce presentation drawings that effectively communicate design ideas.
3. Develop and explore design alternatives, conduct code analysis, create building details, and integrate building systems throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Coordinate design and documentation with other disciplines.

Requirements

1. 5 to 8 years of experience in an architectural office.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
3. Licensed CA Architect preferred.
4. Proficiency in REVIT, BIM standards, Lumion, Twinmotion, Rhino/Grasshopper.
5. Fluent in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
6. Knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp is a plus.
7. Authorization to work in the United States.
