OP RaaS in Naperville, IL is seeking an Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer to ensure our cloud infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient. You will be the primary contact for Level 3 escalations and a key partner to development and operations teams.

This role focuses on AWS services (EC2, Fargate, Glue, Lambda, S3), Terraform IaC, and CI/CD pipelines with Python/Go/Java. You will join a team driving automation, cost reduction, and reliable delivery across a 24/7 on-call

Qualifications

4+ years as a DevOps engineer or equivalent role.
AWS Solutions Architect certificate or working towards it.
Strong background managing AWS services (EC2, Fargate, Glue, Lambda, S3).
Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with AWS cost reduction methods.
Programming with Python/Go/Java and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

Manage AWS services (EC2, Fargate, Glue, Lambda, S3).
Identify and implement AWS cost reductions.
Support Level 3 escalations with coding or out-of-the-box solutions.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Contribute to system design, platform management, and capacity planning in Python/Go/Java with CI/CD pipelines.
Understand and work with Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube.
Log events and resolutions in the ticketing system and communicate via designated channels.
Understand business requirements and logic; communicate effectively.
Balance feature speed and reliability with well-defined SLAs.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support after-hours operations.
