Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers for pre- and post-operative nursing, and advocating for patients to ensure an excellent experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
  • Performing procedures as ordered by medical providers.
  • Documenting care in the medical records promptly and accurately.
  • Administering prescribed medications and monitoring responses.
  • Maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment related to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
Qualifications needed:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma.
